Key Challenges

  • Structural and spatial constraints associated with adaptive reuse

  • High-density white space and containment requirements

  • Coordination between ICT, MEP and base-build systems

  • Ongoing design refinement and installation change during live delivery

WIT Approach

WIT provided integrated ICT design and delivery management with particular emphasis on cross-trade coordination and constructability.

As coordination complexity increased, WIT assumed responsibility for BIM-based clash management, using federated models to identify conflicts, support sequencing and protect engineering intent.

Highlights

  • White space layout and density planning

  • Containment, pathways and structured cabling

  • Cross-trade site coordination

  • BIM-based clash identification and resolution

Outcome

The facility was delivered with robust, operationally ready ICT infrastructure, despite the constraints of an existing structure and an evolving construction environment.
