Singapore – Campus Backbone Upgrade

In order to future proof a lease extension, it was recommended that the campus infrastructure be upgraded to meet upcoming and future demands of the network. The work involved a live installation and cutover of the fiber network to the Main Comm’s Room and 8 Comm’s Closets. WIT were responsible for the design, vendor engagement and project management of the Structured Cabling environment.

There was an obvious risk of downtime associated with the transition from the legacy backbone to the newly upgraded infrastructure however the project was completed as planned.
